Can you run Crystal Reports 10 in read-only mode to prevent users from creating or modifying a report?

I am in an environment where I created reports in CrystalReports 10 and want my users to view the report from an external application. The application is already configured to open the report using the crystal, but I do not want my users to be able to create or modify the report. I can't seem to find a command line option. Is there a Crystal version in runtime only?

embed the crviewer and craxdrt components in your application (comes with a free CR developer version) so that you can view reports without changing them. Basic manipulations (scaling, searching, exporting to PDF, showing / hiding parts or groups) can still be performed.

If you must run this viewer from the command line, I would advise you to insert it into the office document / file and manage it through VBA. For example, you can run an Access version (free for distribution) that will contain one common form for Crystal Reports to display.
