Fingerprint verification

I am doing my last year proj in fingerprint authentication. I completed binarization, thinning, extraction of trifles. I do this in matlab. I'm stuck with a check. I do not know how to perform the check. so please help me solve this problem. I would be grateful to ppl who will help .. thanks in advance. please help me with the verification code or with the atleast algorithm ... thank you very much ...

The usual way is to use some form of statistical classifier. The simplest is Bayesian (which, I believe, will not do for fingerprints). In biometrics, the most popular are GMM (Gaussian mixture model) or HMM (hidden Markov model). Another approach is to use a neural network as a classifier.

I can’t help you write your own verification, but in the past I did a fingerprint with the Griaule Fingerprint SDK . Hope this helps a bit.
