Does PyS60 have reliable garbage collection?

I have heard many times that garbage collection in PyS60 does not match the value. This imposes many restrictions on the use of code for cleaning. Can I at least rely on the fact that non-circular references are cleared after the existence of the function.

Basically you can, but sometimes PyS60 needs a little "help". Untie the keys, always cancel the timers, you may have to manually delete some classes, etc. Nothing wrong.

The btw current 1.9.x branch uses the python 2.5.4 core. In my opinion, 1.9.5 is the first version, which may be better than 1.4.5. Worth a look, especially if you want to play with the 5800 XpressMusic :)

PyS60 from version 1.9.0 uses the Python 2.5.1 kernel and has no problems with garbage collection.
