Can Windows Authentication be used with PHP in IIS for ODBC connections?

Question

Can I use Windows user authentication (setup in iis) to connect to a database in PHP?

This is possible in the .NET world using a method called impersonation. Does it also exist in the world of PHP / IIS?

EDIT . I am using MS SQL Server 2005 database.

If you can authenticate your PHP application using Keberos, you can use the kerberos delegation to transfer credentials to the secondary server.
