Is using Java Datasource a costly test?

My Java (non-Web) application may need to create connection pools of about 200 different data sources. Yes, all 200 of them are connected to various databases. Not 200 connections in the pool.

Here are a few questions that listen to me.

1) Should I expect large ones (performance issues, etc.)?

2) Are there non-profit Java tools available that may be useful.

3) I tried to search the Internet, but actually did not find a direct answer. Does anyone have a link to some good online resource in this regard?

Thanks at Advance

If you are writing a PC / console application, you can use Commons DBCP to manage data source pools and connections. You can add Spring to the mix to help manage the customization of your data sources.

If you write webapp. You can use your servlet container to configure and manage data sources (get them through JNDI).

Your question is pretty vague. I still don't understand the context in which you need all these data sources.

I think you need several data sources with a lot of connections in the pool.
