Rollback a full database one hour

We had some problems this morning, and we need to roll back our database for about an hour. Is this possible and how is this done?

This is a Microsoft SQL 2005 database.

  • Find the previous full backup of your database (BF1).
  • Back up the log file (BL1).
  • Make a full database backup (BF2). Nice to have if the next steps go wrong.
  • Restore previous full backup (BF1) with NORECOVERY
  • Restore a backup copy of the log file (BL1) using RECOVERY and specify the point in time that you want to restore.
