Hosted Email for Rails App

I am looking for an alternative to Google Apps for sending email from my rails application. (Google limits the number of messages you can send).

Do most people roll back their own or prefer them?

I would really like to dynamically create addresses for my clients: customer_name@myapp.com

We use AuthSMTP, which does a good job of informing you when you were reported as SPAM and did not allow you to block lists.

It costs, but very reasonable.
