I am wondering if there is any code for ASP.NET with voice recording.
Ok, I want to create a web page that allows the user to click the record button and record his voice through his microphone, and then convert it to an mp3 file, then I want to press the PLAY button to play back what was recorded.
I searched google alot and cannot find the codes that make this particular code.
I saw a site that can do this, and uses FLASH with RoR (I think).
Is there a way to record voice using ASP.NET? I don't care if he needs to combine FLASH with ASP.NET, if possible.
Thanks.
EDIT:
Stephen M. Redd,
Rate your input. Yes, I know that there is no easy way to accomplish what I ask. I also researched a lot and google on this. Yes, I found out that the best way to do this is to use FLASH with FMS or RED5 (open source).
So, I'm trying to figure out how to write a simple FLASH (.swf) that I can record a voice and then save in mp3 format to a RED5 server.
Do you know, or can you provide any indication of what I am asking above?
1) A tutorial on the microphone class in FLASH (I read some basic implementations from a book called "FLASH Actionscript in the class", which does not tell me how to record a voice, but ONLY how to use the microphone object in FLASH)
2) Tutorial on setting up and using RED5 (FMS is NOT an option due to its cost)
3) 1) 2) asp.net javascript ( - flashvars, FLASH- .swf, ASP.NET javascript)
