After installing Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the declarative workflow does not start automatically

Actually the name is kb947284 . I was recently involved in a Sharepoint project. I ran into this problem when my workflow does not start automatically . If I start the workflow manually, this is just fine . I found kb947284 . Apparently, the cause of this problem is the installation of WSS 3 SP1 . I did what he said in the Permission section, but that didn't work.

The Solution stated to set up an application pool account to use a different user account . What does it mean? Which user account will work? I changed the user account, but both the old and the new account are in the same administrator group for the server on which the SP is installed.

ABOUT! I also found a copy of kb947284 and one comment stated that there is a fix ( kb956057 ). I read the corrections, but could not find anywhere about this workflow problem.

Can someone tell me how this should be done? Thanks in advance.
