I know that if I add the app ___ offline.htm page to the root of the websites, it will act as the site is down and show the contents of the ___ offline.htm application to new users who visit the site.
But what happens to existing active sessions on the site, are they also redirected to the ___ offline.htm application, or can they finish their work and exit successfully?
I plan to update the server running the web accounting application, and I want it to close for new users 40 minutes before I start the update, but let the users already start booking in order to be able to finish it.
So itβs interesting if using the ___ offline.htm application can be an easy / fast solution for this, if not, I will code this behavior myself.
