Implement publisher policy in assembly

Question

I am developing a general build of version 2.0.0.0. For future compatibility, I would like to bind all versions 2.0.xx to the latest installed version. To do this, I need a publisher policy file. Is there a way to embed the publisher policy directly in the "code" assembly instead of installing two different assemblies?

those. my assembly will ALWAYS be in the GAC, as it cannot be launched separately from the application that it wraps.
