Does anyone have an example of something that cannot be done on a Windows2000 server using PHP5?
UPDATE: just to clarify, my problem is not in IIS, or that I am "just open source." This is what hosting is a terrible package in all directions. Storage and bandwidth are ridiculous, there is no control panel, so to do something, even something as simple as creating a cron job, you need to contact technical support who grumbles about the need to implement it and seems to be working at the same time scale since people on the island are lost.
Why not just tell the client that I am asking you! I tried and failed. The hosting company is not a hosting company, it is a friend of the client, and I do not say anything, making a blind difference.
