Outlook sync list only with items in current view

Question

Currently, Outlook takes all the data in the list and synchronizes it with Outlook.

Is it possible and how to synchronize only elements in a specific view? I'm only interested in my items on the list.

Found my own solution. One guy wrote a stssync protocol provider to synchronize Outlook with any DataTable.

This requires some custom implementation in SharePoint, however I managed to get my requested data in Outlook.

You can use the content search or search query result web parts to get a filtered RSS feed that you can sync with Outlook. Of course, this is read-only, so it may not be the way you were.
