Java Floating License API API?

Question

Do not fold your own. There must be something. FlexLM / FlexNet is overrated and does not work for a company like ours. The same goes for RLM. There was one product that I was hoping to name LUM, but IBM no longer licensed the API. So what else is available? Or do you have any known way to get LUM?

Please help, I browsed and searched for more than a year and can not find the right solution. Maybe everyone just creates their own, we would prefer not.

There's also Reprise , encoded by people who originally wrote FlexLM. It was advertised as cheaper and better than the original.
