One of my programs requires a reliable way to register an untrusted network (such as the Internet). The sender or receiver can disconnect at any time and may return later. But any message sent by the client should not be missed. Obviously, syslog does not comply with the bill. I am studying the use of messaging servers like Apache ActiveMQ, not syslog. Message senders are in perl, ruby, and c. Therefore, I have Stomp as a message transport.
Does this serve my purpose? Is there some kind of error that I am missing here?
