How to disable CVS Sticky Option -kk to replace keywords?

I have a file in cvs that has sticky options set to -kk. This replaces all cvs keywords with just a keyword to facilitate the differences. For example, $Author: Alex B$it becomes $Author$.

How to disable the behavior -kkand return to the "normal" cvs, where the keywords will be replaced? I tried the rmfile and update, I tried cvs update -Aand none of them changes the flag.

You have to use

cvs admin -kkv <filename>

to constantly change the mode. Using

cvs update -kkv <filename>

will only change it on your local machine
