SAP HR Relationship Models

Question

SAP HR appears to have several models for describing the relationships between positions (S), Job (C), Organization (O), and Person (P), which are used to support the Organizational Management (OM) module.

Objects P (Person) are usually position holders (S).

There is an SS relationship model that I'm talking about, called the Supervisory model. That is, each position refers to a different position, and one of the positions is considered a manager.

There is another model, the name of which I am trying to find, where the organizational reporting structure is located between O objects first, in a tree structure. In each node, objects S belong to object O, and one of them is marked as Manager.

There are undoubtedly other models, and if you know what they are called and how they work, that would be very useful!

My perspective on this issue is an attempt to deploy the Novell Identity Manager driver from SAP HR into the eDirectory identity store, from there to provide users in Active Directory and Lotus Notes.

One of the key drivers for the project is the manager structure and directReports, so that all managers can be identified and the reporting structure is visualized. Therefore, the importance of SAP HR relationship modeling.
