Where can I find Subversion preinstalled binaries for SGI IRIX?

We have several SGI Onyx 350 and Orgin 350 with IRIX 6.5.x, which we would like to install in Subversion. One of them will most likely be used as a simple repository server running svnserve. The rest will only need to install the client.

The Subversion web page has links to unofficial binaries for many * NIX systems, including the HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, BSD, and Linux servers. Unfortunately, there are none for IRIX. Google search is also empty.

So, is there somewhere on the Internet where IRIX binary files for Subversion are published?

If not, does anyone have experience compiling SVN from source on such systems? How hard is it to keep track of all the dependencies? Are there any reservations we should be aware of?

For a machine like yours, building source code is probably the way out (this is one of the benefits of having a source). Dependencies are not so bad. Dependencies zlib , Apache Portable Runtime (and apr-utils), neon (optional), and BerkelyDB (optional also).
First get Apache and neon, and berkelyDB. it's simple. / configure --prefix =; make; make install

The Nekoware repository has a Subversion 1.5.5 binary.

, SGI-. - . , - .

In addition, messages provided by the software are posted on the SGI forum on nekochan.net . You can ask for something there.

Subversion is pretty meaningful about its dependencies (as you probably already developed). This link gives some dependencies for installing on Redhat 7.3, which dates from the beginning of 2000 (I don't know what small release of Irix you are using). You may find that this is a reasonable guide to dependencies.
