Why migrate from IIS6 to IIS7?

I have several web applications running on multiple IIS6 / Server 2003 mailboxes. They run well and are happy. They are all asp.net web applications and use .NET 3.5.

What, if any, would be good reason to consider moving web applications to IIS7 / Server 2008?

IIS7 is being rewritten from scratch with the concept of "pluggable." IIS7 is more extensible than ever before. The entire query chain has been redesigned to make it easier to handle queries.

langauges. , ISAPI -, ++. .NET. . , .js ScriptCompressor, .

Improved MVC support is related to this, since you can install II7 to route requests without .NET extensions so that you can have URLs that are “cleaner”, like http://www.yourwebsite.com/customer/1 without a visible extension that shows what type of server technology you are using, and is very dishonest these days.
