Download the file and get a headache - htmlfile: Access Denied

We have a page that allows users to upload a file using the asp: FileUpload control. When the user tries to submit the form, get a javascript error on the client side "htmlFile: access denied".

This only happens in IE 7 (not sure about 6), and FF is fine.

This seems to be due to the security setting that was introduced in IE with XP SP2. Fair enough, but how the hell do we get around this? Not every site that I have downloaded does this, so there must be some trick to play well with IE.

I spent days on this mistake. I am ready to kill something / someone :)

thank
