Doxygen language and Assembly

I would like to use Doxygen to document legacy code combining the assembly language C and x86. The assembly language is not built-in, but in separate files only for assembly. How can I document part of assembly language?

See question 12 in the Doxygen FAQ . Are you dealing with pure assembler files or inline assemblers inside C sources? Assuming the first, you will have to either write an input filter to convert the assembler code to something like C (simpler), or write a new parser (much harder).
