This question about archiving PDF files made me wonder - if I wanted to compress (for archive purposes) a lot of files, which are essentially small changes made on top of the master template (letterhead), it seems that a huge compression profit can be achieved when compressing between files.
Does any standard compression / archiving format support? AFAIK, all popular formats focus on compressing each individual file.
Multiple formats compress between files.
