Shared hosting <level of trust = "Medium" / ">

I am a little surprised that this is not in other forums, as this is a complete show-stopper. I have an ASP.NET application that calls a web service that I wrote. It is hosted on a shared hosting. Recently, the company has moved my server so that it can use both applications 1.1 and 2.0. The level of trust has changed from "full" to "medium", and my code stops working. The company will not make any changes to the machine.config file or add my web service as an endpoint. I cannot override the parameter in my web.config file, and I cannot set sourceUrl in my web.config file.

My small business client site is now offline and it will go out of business.

I updated my code to 2.0, and in my web.config files I set the trust level to “Medium” (I learned this lesson on the hard way), but even on my development machine I can’t get a call to my service network. I get a "System.Security.SecurityException: permission request like" System.Net.WebPermission, System, Version = 2.0.0.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = b77a5c561934e089 "failed."

I read that I should “code” these problems, but I don’t know where to start.

Does anyone know what I need to do to get my code to work on a completely blocked hosting server, where no changes to my configuration file are allowed ...

The best bottle of best whiskey I can buy for someone who helps me find a solution to this. ;-)
