As, say, I had a tree structure, then I would naturally use a tree control, since this graphical interface element perfectly displays the structure.
But I have a schedule that is potentially too wide to fit into one web page. I can not come up with examples of graphical interfaces that really match the structure. Some ideas that I have that do not quite fit are the web page itself, with hyperlinks, a browser back button and a forward button. But it only shows you one node at a time. I would like to display as many nodes as I can, and allow navigation to a new area of the graph. Something like Google maps can be a good model, since you have complete freedom to scroll in any direction.
