In previous versions of VS, if you right-click the breakpoint and select "Disable breakpoint", the point will become "hollow" and clicking on it will activate it again. But in VS2008, turning off the breakpoint completely removes the red dot, and you need to go to the Breakpoints window to re-enable it.
Does anyone know how to get the behavior of previous versions? I have several BPs that I often switch, and it's a bit of PITA to do it this way. I do not understand why MS removed this.
EDIT: I installed SP1 yesterday - because without it, VS will work as soon as I try to use CTRL + F. Good testing, Microsoft! The same problem occurs before SP.
I did not touch the default color scheme, and checking it indicates that it should be empty. I tried changing it to no avail. In fact, I can’t even change the included color of the control point.
This is a 64-bit Windows XP machine. I guess this is the root of the problem.
