Is the Open Source Jalopy Eclipse plugin compatible with Ganymede?

Question

After much searching, I found a download for the eclipse version of jalopy . Is it compatible with Eclipse 3.4? It is dated 2006.

I copied the extracted folder to my plugins directory and ran it eclipse -clean, but I can not find anything matching "jalopy" in the settings.

If this is incompatible, are there any (free) alternatives?

Note: the latest eclipse3.5 Galileo formatting code is now:

• supports most Jalopy formatting.
• formatters ( 'formatter' jdt-core.
