Import / export data into agnostic jdbc database?

Can agnostic tables / hydrates be made in general? I have no complex limitations. I also agree to db-specific ways, but the cleaner jdbc is, the better (I don't want to resort to impdp / expdp).

If this is a small amount of data, some programs (such as Aqua Data Studio) can export the data as a series of SQL INSERT statements.
