Firefox: visually redirect flag in address bar

I am wondering if there is a way for Firefox 3 (or IE 7 or Safari 3.1 or Opera) to note that a redirect has occurred (i.e. any deltas between the hyperlink or URL entered in the address bar and the page to which you land on) whether you came from a hyperlink or enter a URL in the address bar.

I looked for some of them, looked at adding a linker , but right-clicking is an additional step that I do not want to take.

Edit: if someone can point me to mozilla docs that show how to track links to clicks and pages landing on different tabs, I’ll hack when writing a bookmarklet. TIA

I do not think this will help, since you do not want to make the right click to add the linker, but if I needed to know if I would be redirected, I would use the LiveHTTPHeaders extension. It supports regular expressions, so you can get headers that include "Location."

The reason I don’t think this is what you are looking for is because you have to open it before the link, it will not “mark” the redirection and the message or something else will not pop up.
