Opinions on using memcachedb as a large-scale keystore

We need to implement a large-scale keystore (even if they say up to 500 GB), and BerkeleyDB thought it might be a good option, but we would really like it to be available on the network. This made me take a look at memcachedb. I have not found much on the Internet where people talk about the real experience with memcachedb, so my questions if you used memcachedb:

  • Would you recommend using it for a large kv store?
  • if not, why not?

Thanks in advance!

Francis
