What can cause the .NET WinForms application to close without dialogue?

It is reported that our WinForms application sometimes just closes on its own. It does not show our own error sending dialog box or the Windows error sending dialog box, it just closes and disappears, often when a person was affiliate and does nothing with the application. This seems to be a rare occurrence, perhaps as much as 2-3 times a month, and this has happened to more than one person. I don’t know where to start with getting a reproduction or where to start tracking it.

C # .NET 2.0 Registered cases are in Win XP

Does anyone have any ideas?

You can add some logic to the FormClosing event to ask the user if this is really what they really want to do, you can cancel the closing event, and your application will continue to work if all goes well. If you continue to notice this problem and it never fulfills your logic, you will have to dirty your hands in the debugger.
