Installing / Unmounting USB Drives in Windows

In Windows Server, by default, external USB drives are not always mounted. I would like my program (written in C #) to detect external USB drives, identify them, and then mount them.

When finished, it must fulfill the software equivalent of Safely Remove Hardware to clean and unmount the drive.

Any pointers?

Microsoft has an article in KB that shows how to do this in C ++: How to remove removable media in Windows NT / Windows 2000 / Windows XP .
