Testing Java Webservice

I provide a web service to my organization. I was wondering, would anyone recommend using apact cactus to set up a testing framework, or did anyone work with any other web services that might be useful?

Thanks Damien

Since you are dealing with a web service, you will not need to use Jakarta Cactus and may get away with writing simple old JUnit tests.

Tests will take two forms:

1. Does basic functionality work as expected?

-, , . / ? , - .

2. - ( SOAP/REST/XMLRPC)?

- - , , -. Axis/CXF/XFire -, JUnit .

, -. - Java, .Net, , .Net. SOAP , .

SoapUI (http://www.soapui.org/). 1) - OR 2) groovy (, ), .

, . , ( ) . .

Apache removed Jakarta Cactus on 2011/08/05, so it cannot be recommended for any new project.
