What is the best STL implementation for VS2005?

I am currently using the standard STL implementation for VS2005 and I am not very happy . Maybe something is better?

The implementation of the Dinkumware STL (shipped with VS2005) is actually quite good. STL is a general-purpose library, so you can almost always write something better for very specific use cases.

I know about the following alternative implementations, but I never used them with VS2005:

SGI 3.3 Standard Template Library: http://www.sgi.com/tech/stl/

STLport 5.1.6 (from SGI implementation): http://www.stlport.org/

SGI, STLport / ==, . .

STL , , . , . , , - , STL.

Dinkumware STL , VS2005 ++.

Dinkumware is supposedly creating one of the most standardized implementations of the C ++ standard library. You can get a binary license for VS2005 for $ 200.

There is also Apache STL , but as others have noted, I think Dinkumware is your best bet.

Depending on your limitations, you may find the STL Electronic Arts implementation as interesting: EASTL
