How to identify prefabricated folders for an application?

How to correctly determine the Assembly folder for an application? I tried using the registry key: HKLM / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / .NET Framework / AssemblyFolders / App-Name and use (by default) to set this to the path where the nodes are located.

It worked fine a while ago, but when I compiled a new version and deployed it to a PC, it would no longer work.

Do I need to add something else or skip a task?
