I created the installer for my application manually (do not ask why). And I installed the registry keys for entering it into the add / remove control panel in the "HKCU \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Uninstall" section. And it works great. I need it to be under HKCU, so my installer will work on Vista without asking for a upgrade.
The problem is that if the user sets up a domain account with a roaming profile and then switches to another machine, there is an entry for my software on the add / remove control panel without any information. I don’t want it to appear there for roaming users, my application is not installed in such a way that it will work anyway. Anyway, can I configure this entry so that my application does not appear in add / remove? Or did I doom myself by recording under HKCU? Thank!
