Linux Pitch Authentication

Is there any free tool or combination of software that allows you to determine the height of a recorded singing session?

The idea is to display some kind of graph with the current step in the time line along with markers for standard notes (C3, C # 3, D, etc.). I do not need pitch correction, and I do not need this to be done in real time.

I know that a rosegarden plugin once appeared, but it went missing.

Checkout Audacity . He left the project to do an analysis of musical tone.

The simplest task is to determine the largest frequency component in any window and name this frequency. But real music (a) has chords and (b) has subtexts and shades. In addition, singing often has a “tremolo”, where the singer changes the actual step around the theoretical tone on which the music is marked.

Praat , at least, will automatically evaluate the tone of complex sounds. Although I do not know if he can mark standard notes at your request.
