Does anyone use Microsoft Software Licensing and Protection (SLP) services?

Microsoft has released this rather new technology, which I am considering for use in a .NET 3.5 application. I'm curious is anyone using this technology already? I am worried that using a secure virtual machine will negatively impact performance. In addition, as Microsoft advertises the product, it seems that licensing integration is very smooth and does not require any development in the code. It sounds like a great product, but I want to make sure that I know any pitfalls before committing to it.

Microsoft today announced that it is not accepting new customers for SLP. It seems that the whole program is going down the drain ... I am glad that my company has not yet subscribed to it!

SLP doesn't seem to support .NET 3.5 at the moment.

It would be best to implement a helper DLL containing SLP API calls in .NET 2.0 or 3.0, protect it, and add it as a reference to your .NET 3.5 application.
