What happened to ASP.Net Mobile Web Forms?

Previously, Visual Studio had templates for mobile web forms (and not for mobile SDKs). They seem to have gone into Visual Studio 2008, and the only solution I have seen is to download some templates from Omar here:

Is it supported more, and if it is supported?

I thought I would be back to answer that. Mobile form controls still exist, and the templates provided informally above are the only ones I have found. I'm not sure why they selected them in Visual Studio 2008.
