Using Subsonic for a potentially highly accessible ASPNET MVC application

Question

I'm going to run a project for a potentially highly accessible ASPNET MVC application, and I was thinking of using Subsonic for my DAL. I have some concern about Subsonic's ability to handle thousands of concurrent requests. Can someone give me some examples of popular websites using Subsonic? Also, if you have any suggestions for a possible replacement for Subsonic besides NHibernate, that would be great too. thank
