C ++ standard

I have not recently supported the C ++ world. What exactly is happening these days regarding the standard?

Is TR1 used?

Is there a TR2?

How do they relate to C ++ 0x? Are you connected?

Has a decision been made on streaming?

You can find an extensive article on the upcoming C ++ 0x on wikipedia and the current state of C ++ evolution here . Also worth a look at the current GNU implementation in gcc

, , pvnsp.

  • Yes, TR1 is accepted and C ++ 0x is expected to cover almost the entire standard.
  • There is TR2 , it is still under development.
  • As far as I know, there is no solution for streaming use. Here is a document from open-std.org that discusses this issue.
