Does anyone know a good tutorial on developing Squid plugins?

There is one in the squid documentation. IIRC is quite straightforward - the squid develops the process and transfers the data through the pipe to the process. A somewhat outdated, but still relevant programmer's guide can be found here .

Squid is currently a fairly modular and extensible platform, so it really depends on what you need to do. Most of the information can be found on the squid wiki ( http://wiki.squid-cache.org )
