Suggestions for Using Flex with WCF and Linq for Objects

So, I'm working on a project that uses an ASP.NET server, and we pass entities passed through WCF from LINQ-to-Entity queries. I have already overcome the cyclic issue with WCF. Now, when I look at the next step, the Flex user interface, I wonder if people have already encountered working with WCF from Flex, or using Entities with Flex (entities from an entity structure)? And Flex suggestions, libraries, templates, and tips will help. Thank.

Things to help:

  • How to “save” or trick objects on the user interface side.
  • Security, how to protect communication from the user interface to the service.
  • How to create / transfer new objects from the user interface to the service and then interpret them as .NET objects.

I would look at Fluorine FX. This is a very mature and stable AMF implementation for .NET, and it provides WCF integration. My colleague posted some information here:

AMF REST SOAP, AMF - , .

On the other hand, if you plan to open your services to other ui clients, then be sure to use REST.
