Subfolders in CodeIgniter

Question

I am new to CodeIgniter and I need help. I would like to implement the following:

• View user profile via: http: // localhost / profile / johndoe

• User profile administration via: http: // localhost / admin / profile / johndoe

• To be able to perform further processing through: http: // localhost / admin / profile / create ... and also ... http: // localhost / admin / profile / edit / johndoe

I already created an admin object and provided it. Should I create a profile function under the administrator and work with the URI to handle accordingly? Is there a better way?
