Z-index cannot overcome iframe value

Question

I have divand iframethe page divhas

z-index: 0;

iframehas its own content with a popup having z-index1000

z-index: 1000;

However, divit still eclipses the popup in IE (but works fine in Firefox).

Does anyone know what I can do?

What version of IE?

I am not a javascript guru, but I think I am hiding a div when popup popups can do what you need.
