Has anyone been successful in getting the Grails plugin for eclipse? What about grails plugin with netbeans?
If you are using the beta version of NetBeans 6.5, you will see that the Grails functionality is promising, but still buggy (minor). It’s good that in 6.5 Groovy and Grails support is standard, you do not need to install plugins.
Unfortunately, there was not much progress in the Eclipse plugin for Grails, we started using IntelliJ IDEA to develop Grails, the JetGroovy plugin works fine and continues to improve!

For future reference only: Netbeans 6.8 is available with a very nice Grails / Groovy plugin that works like a charme. Alternatively, you can use the new Code Coverage plugin. Really nice build.

But you should keep in mind that Grails is now owned by Spring Source. Spring Source is known for developing its own Eclipse-based toolkit. Perhaps we will see a better implementation of the Grails plugin for Eclipse.
