Multi-select tooltip not working properly in Cognos 8.1

Changing the prompt value for a multi-select tooltip in the report studio provides unified selection functionality. How can I get multiscreen features?

Look at the parameter associated with the tooltip. Now look and see how you use this option to filter queries in your report. If you have a filter installed: -

[namespace]. [table]. [column] =? MyParameter?

... then it doesn’t matter that your invitation is an invitation with several choices, it will still be executed as a single invitation of choice. Change the filters so that they have the form: -

[namespace]. [table]. [column] in? MyParameter?
