I recommend the combination of the SAP Business Connector ( http://service.sap.com/sbc-download ), which provides a simple interface for receiving / sending RFC calls from / to the SAP side and the IBM WebSphere Java library, which makes it easy to interact with WebSphere . ("webshphere.jar" may possibly be found somewhere at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere .)
In the Business Connector, you can then write a โJava serviceโ that acts as a bridge between RFC data from SAP and WebSphere data. There should be only a couple of days of development effort.
