We have a multiproject that we are trying to launch Cobertura test coverage reports as part of our mvn site assembly. I can get Cobertura to work on child projects, but it mistakenly reports 0% coverage, although reports still highlight lines of code that have been affected by unit tests.
We are using mvn 2.0.8. I tried to work mvn clean site, mvn clean site:stageand mvn clean package site. I know that the tests are running, they are displayed in surefire reports (txt / xml and site reports). Am I missing something in the configuration? Does Cobertura include the right to work with multi-projects?
This is in the parent .pom:
<build>
<pluginManagement>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
<artifactId>cobertura-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<inherited>true</inherited>
<executions>
<execution>
<id>clean</id>
<goals>
<goal>clean</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</pluginManagement>
</build>
<reporting>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
<artifactId>cobertura-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<inherited>true</inherited>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</reporting>
I tried running it with and without the following in a child .poms:
<reporting>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
<artifactId>cobertura-maven-plugin</artifactId>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</reporting>
I get this at the output of the assembly:
