How to transfer a virtual machine from VMWare to VirtualBox?

I have been using VMWare for a while, and I am very pleased with this, but I would like to compare it with VirtualBox. The disk images seem to be compatible, and I successfully booted up my Fedora virtual machine created by VMWare in VirtualBox ... but the network is completely inaccessible. How do you transfer a virtual machine from VMWare to VirtualBox and keep all the features intact?

Have you tried to switch to the options in the virtual box and change the network adapter to VB? VB is slightly different in it with virtual adapters, you may have to create a new one attached to nic, and then indicate that it is the main nic.

Are you sure the network is completely unavailable? VirtualBox is known to have a problem with ICMP support, so you cannot ping any host from the guest OS. Yesterday I ran into the same problem and the network really worked.
