What is the .NET platform deployment level?

Question

I searched for this information for my commercial desktop product, but to no avail.

In particular, what I'm looking for is statistics on the deployment of the .NET platform for end users (like Grandma "I just browse the Internet" XP, and high-performance users, if possible) and in the commercial / business sector.

I found some statistics for 2005 on Scott Wiltamuth’s blog (you can be sure that these numbers are much higher):

Unfortunately, this does not help you answer the broader question about deployment speed for several demographic indicators, but it can be a useful method for a separate client base.
